OXFORD, Miss. – Members of the Ole Miss Athletics Foundation can take an opportunity to get an inside glimpse at the Ole Miss soccer program with a special “Member Appreciation Night” that will be hosted in conjunction with the Rebels’ soccer match against Vanderbilt on Friday.
Ole Miss (10-3-1, 3-2-0 SEC) enters the weekend after posting a road win over No. 20 Georgia this past Sunday and after defeating Auburn 7-0 in the Rebels’ last home contest.
The event will begin at 6 p.m. at the Ole Miss Soccer Stadium behind the Gillom Sports Complex with a tailgate prior to kickoff of the match against the Commodores. Admission to the event and the game is free.
Members of the Ole Miss Athletics Foundation will be able to take part in the tailgate and get a pregame talk from head soccer coach Matthew Mott before the match. There will also be special presentations and giveaways through the match as the Rebels kick off the weekend of sporting events on campus, highlighted by the football contest against No. 9 Texas A&M on Saturday.
Members of the Ole Miss Athletics Foundation who are interested in participating in the tailgate and Member Appreciation Night are asked to RSVP with Matthew McLaughlin by contacting him at either 662-915-1750 or by email at email@example.com.
