The Capital Gift Agreement (CGA) is unique to Ole Miss and gives everyone the opportunity to invest in the long-term future of Ole Miss Athletics. Designed to provide unparalleled amenities and privileges, the CGA is an innovative way to provide long-term assurances to our loyal season ticket holders while also generating capital for the Forward Together campaign. By signing and completing the agreement, you will receive a range of benefits including:
Your current basketball seats are not affected by the Capital Gift Agreement (CGA). You will still have priority over your current seats until we begin play in the new basketball arena. As long as you continue to make your minimum per-seat contributions, and purchase your season tickets, you will still receive your same seating arrangements. If you sign a CGA for one of the premium areas, your CGA pledge can be satisfied over a 4 year period, with 25% being due each July 1st of 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015.
Donor #1 currently has 4 basketball seats in the Tad Smith Coliseum that require a per-seat donation of $150 ($600 total for 4 seats). Donor #1 also signs a CGA for 4 Arena Club seats that have a per-seat CGA gift of $2,000 ($8,000 total). Donor #1 will still make the annual donation of $600 to the Basketball Priority Seating Fund each season until the arena opens, along with the purchase of 4 season tickets. In addition to the contribution to the Basketball Priority Seating Fund, Donor #1 will contribute 25% (or $2,000) of their total CGA pledge of $8,000 by each July 1st of 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015. When the new basketball arena opens, Donor #1 will simply make the per-seat donation of $800 ($3,200 total) and purchase 4 season tickets. As always, contributions to the UMAA Foundation are tax deductible.
Donor #2 currently has 2 floor seats in the Tad Smith Coliseum that require a per-seat donation of $1,250 ($2,500 total). Donor #2 also signs a CGA for 2 Courtside Club seats that have a per-seat CGA gift of $3,000 ($6,000 total for 2 seats). Donor #2 will still contribute $2,500 to the Basketball Priority Seating Fund each season until the arena opens, along with the purchase of 2 season tickets. In addition to the donation to the Basketball Priority Seating Fund, Donor #2 will contribute 25% (or $1,500) of their total CGA pledge of $6,000 by each July 1st of 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015. When the new basketball arena opens, Donor #2 will simply make the per-seat donation of $1,200 ($2,400 total) and purchase the season basketball tickets. As always, contributions to the UMAA Foundation are tax deductible.
Donor #3 currently has 4 basketball seats in the Tad Smith Coliseum that require a per-seat donation of $150 ($600 total). Donor #3 does not sign a Capital Gift Agreement for one of the club areas in the new arena but does want tickets in the new arena. Donor #3 will simply continue to donate to the Basketball Priority Seating Fund for their tickets in the Tad Smith Coliseum, and will wait for further information about general seating that will be released as the project moves forward.

How do I order seats in one of the club areas now?
To gaurantee your seats in the one of the club areas in the new arena, fill out an Arena Capital Gift Agreement and return it by January 6th, 2012, in order to lock in the current contribution prices. The form can be found by clicking HERE.
Do I have to commit to a CGA in order to guarantee basketball seats in the new arena?
You only have to sign a CGA if you want to be seated in one of the premium seating sections. The club seats only make up about 16% of the total seating capacity of the new arena, however these seats will offer the amenities and benefits other seats in the arena will not. If you do not want to sit in one of the premium seating sections, the rest of the arena will be seated on a priority point basis no earlier than 2013.
How do I get the better seats in the arena?
Seating allocations in the new arena will be based on a four-tiered system that rewards those individuals who have been loyal basketball season ticket holders. Everyone will have the opportunity to pick their seats in the new arena based upon where they ranked in priority points within the 4 tiers.
Tier One – The first people to pick seats in the new arena will be current floor seat holders in the Tad Smith Coliseum. These individuals will be ranked by priority points, and then will be given the first opportunity to pick their seats.
Tier Two – The next group of individuals to pick their seats will be current basketball season ticket holders that contribute to the Men's Basketball Prioirty Seating Fund. Individuals must have a history of purchasing basketball season tickets, and must maintain their seats until the arena opens. These individuals will be ranked in priority point order, and then will be given the second opportunity to pick their seats.
Tier Three - The next group to pick their seats, will be current basketball season ticket holders who do not contribute to the Men's Basketball Prioirty Seating Fund. Individuals must have a history of purchasing basketball season tickets, and must maintain their seats until the arena opens. These individuals will be ranked in priority point order, and then will be given the third opportunity to pick their seats.
Tier Four– The final group of individuals to pick their seats will be all individuals who do not have season basketball tickets. These individuals will be ranked in priority point order, and have the last opportunity to pick their seats in the new arena.
Is there an opportunity to see the differences in seats that will be installed in the new arena?
