Ole Miss Athletic Director @RossBjorkAD Gets Involved with #Chillin4Charity
Ole Miss Athletic Director, Ross Bjork got into the #Chillin4Charity Cold Water Challenge on July 10. After being called out by Oregon Athletic Director, Rob Mullen, Bjork and his son Payton took to the Walk of Champions and got dumped on by members of the Ole Miss women’s basketball team. In return, Bjork challenged Leigh Anne Tuohy, Memphis Athletic Director Tom Bowen and Ole Miss alum and current Fox News reporter Shepard Smith. Joseph Wraps Up Action with Great Britain at the U20 European Championships
Rising sophomore Shequila Joseph went back across the pond to play for Great Britain at the Under 20 European Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria July 3-13. Joseph averaged 9.2 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists through six games. She reached double figures on three occasions with a tournament best 14 points against Lithuania. She also had a tournament high nine rebound’s in a win over Bosnia and Herzegovina. Check out all of her stats HERE .

Price Heads Into Ole Miss M-Club Hall of Fame
Former Ole Miss women’s basketball great Armintie Price-Herrington will be inducted into the Ole Miss M-Club Hall of Fame this year. Price, is one of three players in program history to record over 2,000 career points and one of four players with over 1,000 points and 500 career assists. Congrats Mint! 

McFarland Inks Professional Contract
Former Ole Miss point guard Valencia McFarland (2010-14) inked her first professional contact with Romanian club CSU Alba Lulia of the Euroleague. The Euroleague is regarded as the top women’s basketball league in the world and is home to some of the top players in the world. Read about McFarland’s signing HERE.

WNBA Update
The Rebels have a vested interest in what’s happening with the Los Angeles Sparks of the WNBA. Former Ole Miss head coach and player, Carol Ross, and Rebel great Armintie Price-Herrington, have been reunited in the city of Angels with the WNBA’s Sparks. The Sparks are in the midst of three games in five days. The squad opened the swing with a 90-64 win over the Connecticut Sun, which features another Rebel in Jennifer Gillom, who is an assistant coach for the Sun. LA takes on the Indiana Fever in a nationally-televised contest on ESPN2 on Tuesday (July 15). Ole Miss also keeps an eye on the Connecticut Sun as former Ole Miss great Jennifer Gillom serves on the coaching staff. Basketball Practice Facility Renamed Tuohy Basketball Center
Thanks to the extraordinary contributions of Sean Tuohy and his family to the Ole Miss Athletics Foundation’s Forward Together campaign, Ole Miss Athletics has renamed the Basketball Practice Facility the Tuohy Basketball Center. Read all about the renaming HERE.

Rebels Host Horizon Summer Learning Program at Tuohy Center
The women’s basketball team hosted a group of youth ages 5-8 who are enrolled in the Horizon Summer Learning Program at the Tuohy Center on Friday (June 27). The group sponsored by the McLean Institute on campus, is a program designed to prevent summer learning loss and features students from Oxford’s Bramlett Elementary School. The Ole Miss basketball team and staff put the groups through some basketball drills and played several games during the event.  For more on the event click HERE.
