OXFORD, Miss. - Former Ole Miss women's basketball player and assistant coach, Armintie Price-Herrington and her Atlanta Dream team are headed to the WNBA Finals after a series sweep of 2012 WNBA Champion, Indiana on Sunday (Sept. 29).
Price-Herrington will be making her third trip to the WNBA Finals as the Dream have reached the Finals for the third time in the last four seasons. Price-Herrington played a key role in getting the Dream back to the Finals. In game one of the series, Price-Herrington tallied 16 points, seven rebounds, five assists and four steals in the 84-79 win. She followed that with nine points and nine rebounds in the series finale.
The Dream open the WNBA Finals on Sunday (Oct. 6) when they travel to Minnesota for the first game in the best-of-five series. Fans can get up-to-date information at the Atlanta Dream website.
