New Orleans - The Ole Miss women's golf team finished fifth in a shortened Tulane Greenwave Classic with a two round score of 330-311-641. The tournament was originally to be a three round, 56 hole tournament, but was shortened due to weather.

The Lady Rebels were led by sophomore Teesha Ash, who fired an 85-74-159 to finish 20th overall for the tournament. Following right behind the sophomore was team captain Bernadette Luse who fired an 83-78-161 to tie for the No. 25 spot.

Nikki Hadd took the No. 40 spot with her score of 82-84-164, while Kerrie Davis carded an 80-91-171 to tie for the No. 56 spot. Brooke Hixon fired a 94-80-174 to tie for 63rd.

Senior Elizabeth Hoffman fired a 75 in the second round, but her first round score was not counted due to disqualification.

The Lady Rebels will return to action March 22-23 at the Liz Murphy Collegiate in Athens, Ga. The tournament will be hosted by the University of Georgia.
