Schneider Leads Ole Miss On Day One Of LSU Golf Classic

Schneider Leads Ole Miss On Day One Of LSU Golf Classic BATON ROUGE, La. – Ericka Schneider turned in a 3-over 75 to lead the Ole Miss women’s golf team on day one of the LSU Golf Classic being played Friday-Sunday at the University Club. After one round of play, Schneider is tied for 16th out of the 79-player field. As a team, Ole Miss is in 12th place out of 14 teams, carding a 34-over 322 on Friday. Arkansas is in first, firing a 5-over 293 in today’s round. Abby Newton carded a 6-over 78, including two birdies on the day, and is in a tie for 34th. Alison Hovatter is in a tie for 62nd place after turning in a 12-over 84 today. Stani Schiavone carded a 13-over 85 and is in a tie for 68th while Taelor Rubin is tied for 75th after turning in a 16-over 88. Round two tees off tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. CT with a shotgun start.
