OXFORD, Miss. -- Round one of the Lady Rebel Intercollegiate saw Arkansas shoot a 313 to lead the way after 18 holes at the University Golf Course. The host Ole Miss women's golf team posted a day-one score of 330 to place 12th in the 19-team field. The second round of the three-day, 54-hole tournament will be Saturday.

Erin Doyle of Southern Mississippi and Linda Maripuu of Georgia State each fired a 73 to move atop the leader board after day one. Leading the way for Ole Miss is sophomore and first-year Lady Rebel Elizabeth Hoffman, who shot a 40-37--77 to place in a tie for sixth. A native of Kingwood, Texas, Hoffman is competing in only her second event with Ole Miss after transferring from Texas Lutheran.

Teresa Brown is in a tie for 15th after day one with a 41-38--79. She is competing as an individual in the tournament, so her scores are not included in the Ole Miss team score. A junior from Windermere, Fla., Brown has three career top 20 finishes, including a career-best 13th-place showing at the 1998 Lady Rebel Intercollegiate.

Also for Ole Miss, Marci Kornegay, a junior from Savannah, Ga., shot a 44-39-83, while Robyn Rinaldo, a senior from Dade City, Fla., posted 42-42--84. Kim Tudor, a sophomore from Winter Garden, Fla., tallied an 87, while redshirt-freshmen Allison Burrow of Garland, Texas, and Roiann Boisture of Princeton, Ky., fired an 86 and 95, respectively.
