ATHENS, Ga. - Ole Miss women's golfers Kathryn Fowler and Kaitlin Voll concluded at the Lady Bulldog Individual Championship on Saturday (Feb. 8). Fowler finished in 19th place, while Voll closed the tournament in 34th place.

Fowler fired a two-round score of 156 after two rounds of 6-over par 78, while Voll closed tournament action with a two-round score of 163 after posting a 8-over par, 80 in the first round and an 11-over par 83 in the second round.

Auburn's Alex Harrell and Cheesy Thomas from Tennessee won the event both posting identical scores of 147. Additionally, Tennessee, Chattanooga, Georgia and Samford played a team competition with Tennessee winning the team competition with a two-round score of 608.  

This is the second consecutive year Ole Miss has sent players to the Lady Bulldog Individual Championships. Last year, Abby Newton and former Rebel Ericka Schneider played at the tournament.

The one-day tournament featured 36 holes of stroke play with a shotgun start at the University of Georgia Golf. The course, which hosted the 2013 NCAA Championship, is Par 72 - 6335 yards.

The Ole Miss women's golf team opens the spring season Feb. 23 when they head to New Orleans for the Allstate Sugar Bowl Classic. The tournament will be held at the English Turn Golf and Country Club in New Orleans, La.
