Hi Rebel Fans!
We are kicking off our spring semester in Sorrento, Fla. with the UCF Challenge at Red Tail Golf Club. This being our first event, we are very excited to tee it up tomorrow. In preparation for this tournament we have been working on putts 10 feet and in, working on making more putts. We are a team that has always hit a lot of greens and plan to carry that on into this tournament, because the real work doesn’t start until you are on the green. We have worked day in and day out getting ready for our spring semester and now that the time is here, I have full confidence in all of my teammates that we can do great things; what better time to start than right now!
I can’t think of a better way to kick of this semester than with warm, sunny weather in my home state. Our plan for the next three days is to stick to our process and play our games the way we have prepared ourselves to do. This golf course sets up very well for us and with all the work we have been getting done in the off season I am excited to see what we can do on it.
On a bit of an interesting note, I have the pleasure of having Abby and Taelor as roommates this week and let me tell you there is never a dull moment with this group; you can always count on us for a good laugh! Within five minutes of getting into the room we managed to loose the TV remote, which we looked for, for 15 minutes. After a long search that took us to the most inconspicuous places like the microwave, refrigerator and bathroom we finally found it in the most obvious place known to man, behind the night stand... Leave it to a room full of blondes to make something so easy turn into something so challenging!
Be sure to tune into GolfStat.com and check out your Lady Rebels as we tear up the golf course the next three days!! Hotty Toddy!!!!
