Hello from Mesa, Arizona!

Well, we have had quite a trip already! Our first flight departed Memphis and arrived in Salt Lake City, Utah. On our way, we got some amazing views of the Rockies and Salt Lake! As if that wasn’t enough, our next flight to Phoenix, Arizona gave us views of the Colorado River and the canyons. The views were obviously miraculous because they even pulled me away from favorite new game, 94 Seconds. My roommate for the trip, Kathryn, introduced me to the game. Now she has to deal with my borderline addiction, how appropriate!

As soon as we arrived in Phoenix, the weather was gorgeous. This Pennsylvania girl will take 77 degrees and sunny all year long! The weather was even nicer Thursday for our practice round at Longbow Golf Club. The course is in great condition right down to the perfectly manicured cactiJ. I’ve developed a fascination for desert life. The golf course is crawling with adorable animals that look like a cross between a chipmunk and a prairie dog. We later found out they are called round-tail ground squirrels, if you want to get official!

Aside from the adorable critters and cacti, during our practice round we worked hard on preparing ourselves for the next three days. We were making sure to get good targets off of tee boxes and really focus on what the best play is for each and every shot. A practice round is a wonderful tool!

Well, it’s time for some good rest before the first round! You can follow all the action for the next three days with live scoring at Stay tuned Rebel fans, we appreciate your support!! Hotty Toddy!!
