OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss women's golf team returns to action March 26-27, as they battle 13 other teams in the Anuenue Spring Break Classic in Maui, Hawaii.
The tournament features two top-25 teams in PAC 12 powerhouses No. 3 California and No. 14 Oregon. Ole Miss and Tennessee are the only SEC schools in a West Coast-dominated field.
The Rebels' last trip to the islands was in 2009 for the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate.
Though the Rebels finished in 10th place last week at the SunTrust Gator Women's Invitational, they will be carrying the momentum of two solid final rounds into the Anuenue.
Ole Miss is led by junior Haley Sanders, who comes into the tournament with a team-best 75.00 stroke average. Sanders has notched two top-20 finishes, including a 13th place effort at the Landfall Tradition in October.
Senior Natalie Gleadall holds a 75.29 stroke average for the season. The Stratford, Ontario native has amassed five top-10 finishes over her career--the latest a runner-up finish at the Golfweek Conference Challenge.
Haley Millsap is coming off her best effort of the season at the Gator Women's Invitational, where she shot a 222.
Junior Ericka Schneider and senior Ashley Lance round out the lineup; while junior Alyssa Randolph will see her first action of the year, competing as an individual.
The Rebels will tee off Monday from the par-72 Bay Course. Fans can follow along via live stats at www.OleMissSports.com. Also follow the Rebels on twitter at @OleMissWGolf and on facebook at http://www.facebook.com/OleMissWGolf
