OXFORD, Miss. – The Ole Miss women’s golf team will host its annual home tournament, the M&F Bank Rebel Intercollegiate, April 5-7 at the Ole Miss Golf Course.

The 18-team tournament, which includes three teams ranked in the top-30 in Golfweek’s latest rankings, includes No. 27 Baylor, Coastal Carolina, East Tennessee State University, Furman, Harvard, Kentucky, No. 25 LSU, Memphis, Minnesota, Mississippi State, Missouri, Murray State, Ole Miss, Redlands CC, Southern Miss, Troy, No. 20 Tulane, and Tulsa.

Ole Miss’ lineup includes Ericka Schneider, Abby Newton, Stani Schiavone, Alison Hovatter and Kathryn Folwer while Taelor Rubin and Katie Voll will each be competing as an individual.

“We always look forward to our home tournament, unlike other sports this is our one time to soak it up and enjoy being in Oxford playing in front of our Ole Miss fans,” head coach Michele Drinkard said.  “Individually this spring, we have had some good tournaments but as a team we have struggled.  This is the week I see us getting back to an Ole Miss style of golf and that is to stick to the process and execute.”

Rebel Rewards will be scanning each day in the clubhouse (Friday: 10:30-11:00 a.m.; Saturday: 2:30-3:00 p.m. and Sunday:  11:30 a.m. -12:00 p.m.) Ole Miss Golf pennants will be given to fans on Friday while supplies last.

Teams will tee off at 7:51 a.m. both Friday and Saturday and will tee off in a shotgun start on Sunday starting at 8 a.m.

Ole Miss has recorded three top-10 finishes this spring in its four tournaments. The Rebels are led by Schenider who has played in all nine tournaments this year and has a 74.86 stroke average.
