CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The Ole Miss women’s golf team continued its tradition of academic excellence this season as rising sophomore Pi-Lillebi Hermansson was named an All-American Scholar by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association.

The Djursholm, Sweden native was one of 952 student-athletes selected across three divisions. Hermansson marks the fourth selection in two seasons for head coach Kory Henkes.

The WGCA’s All-American Scholar criteria are some of the most rigorous in collegiate athletics, requiring a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50.

Hermansson was also honored this past season as one of five Rebel golfers to earn a 3.0 or above for the fall semester.

A psychology major and French minor, Hermansson also found time to put together one of the best freshman campaigns on the course in program history. She finished second among qualifying golfers on the Rebel squad with an 18-hole average of 75.04.
