CLEVELAND, Ohio — Former Ole Miss golfer Natalie Gleadall continued her stellar play at the U.S. Women’s AM Championship today as she reached the round of 32 after winning her first match today, beating Pepperdine’s Grace Na, 2 and 1.
The U.S. Women’s AM Championship is being held at The Country Club in Cleveland, Ohio.
“Today’s match was tough and Grace is a great competitor,” Gleadall said. “I played very solid on the front nine and was up four through 10 holes but Grace really started to play well on the back and made the match close coming down the stretch. I’m excited for tomorrow’s match. Match play is a lot different than stroke play and I feel like I really learned a lot today.”
In the round of 32 tomorrow, Gleadall will face Jayvie Marie Agojo of the Philippines, who finished one up on her opponent in the round of 64 today. Gleadall and Agojo will tee off tomorrow at 6:50 a.m. CT.

The top 16 will play in the round of 16 on Thursday starting at 12 p.m. CT. The quarterfinals will take place on Friday followed by the semifinals on Saturday and the final on Sunday.
Former golfer Haley Millsap advanced to match play today but fell to her opponent, Lisa McCloskey, 2 and 1.
