The Rebels kick off the season at the Cougar Classic.
Sep 7, 2013
We decided to write a team blog to kick off our season. We are here in Charleston, South Carolina to play in the Cougar Classic at Yeaman's Hall.
When we first arrived last night, we went straight to the Home Team Kitchen at the Alley for dinner and bowling. We met up with Betty Lou Garrigan, an Ole Miss grad whose husband and sons are also alums. It's always nice to find a fellow Rebel no matter where we go. It was a great night, and bowling was interesting! I'm sure you're wondering who won. All that matters though is we had a good time (ahem... ahem, Coach Janell won). After that, we drove back to our cottages on site at Yeaman's.
It is a unique aspect of this tournament that we get to stay in cottages on the golf course. It's really nice to be so close to the course. We can't wait to kick off this season in the coming days!! You can follow the tournament at golfstatresults.com. Thanks for your support!
