This week the Ole Miss women’s golf team travels to my neck of the woods in North Carolina.  We are playing in Chapel Hill at Finley Golf Course for the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Tournament, Friday through Sunday.

This tournament is special to me because of the close distance to home but also because of my past history on this golf course.  I know this team can play well here and it’s a fun and beautiful course.  We had a quick flight into Raleigh-Durham and we started out right going to one of my favorite places for dinner, Top of the Hill.  It looks over all of Franklin Street and has an outdoor patio that we were able to enjoy.

Since this team is all about getting FoYo, we went to this little hole in the wall called The Yogurt Pump. Another one of my favorite places out here!  I think the team consensus was that thin mint was the flavor of the night.  We are all prepared and feeling good about this week.  I absolutely love this team chemistry because we are all about having fun on and off the golf course.

We are all checked into the hotel and ready to go!  Follow us on golfstat.com this week!  Hotty Toddy Rebel Nation!
