Hi Rebel fans,
This week we traveled back to North Carolina, for the University of North Carolina Wilmington Landfall Tradition Tournament. So far I already love it here as the food is great and the views are beautiful!
We are really enjoying the hotel as we are staying right on the beach with rooms that have ocean front views. On Wednesday we had a much needed relaxing day as we played nine holes at the Country Club of Landfall and then were treated to the movie Pitch Perfect. We may have been some of the only people in the theatre, but silence in the theatre was not a problem as the movie was very entertaining. Lots of laughter! After the movie we enjoyed a delicious meal in downtown Wilmington at Elijah’s on the Cape Fear River. The desserts at Elijah’s were to die for, literally, as we all enjoyed a bite of the Death by Chocolate cake.
Thursday morning we played our practice round and afterwards we discussed a game plan, and we are excited and confident heading in to the first round. Last week we prepared hard for this tournament as we worked on various short game shots and putting drills to help build our confidence on scoring holes.
At our last tournament we finished really strong and came out with a tie for second place. We are looking forward to building on from the last tournament and focusing on our process and game plan to have a great finish to our fall season.
