OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss Rebel rifle team will welcome Alaska-Fairbanks and Army to Oxford this week for a pair of matches at the Patricia C. Lamar National Guard Readiness Center. The Rebels will take on Alaska-Fairbanks on Wednesday and face Great America Rifle Conference foe Army on Sunday.

“We are excited to face off against Alaska-Fairbanks and Army,” said Ole Miss head coach Valerie Boothe. “They were both NCAA teams last year and present us with a great challenge. We will definitely have to bring our A-game this week.”

Last weekend, the Rebels took third place at the Ole Miss Invitational led by senior Keely Stankey, who took home top team honors with an air rifle mark of 589 and a smallbore score of 577.

All Ole Miss home matches take place at the Patricia C. Lamar National Guard Readiness Center located off Hwy. 7 on Sisk Ave. and are open to the public.
