Rebels Win First Ever SEC Tournament Championship, 5-1, Over No. 21 LSU

2017 (Junior): Turned into the everyday shortstop and played in 58 games with starts in 39 … Began the season as a utility player, then moved to second base for a short stint, before moving to shortstop three weeks into SEC play … Started at five different positions defensively and at some point played every position on the field except pitcher and catcher … Totaled 32 hits and 28 runs … Second-leading hitter on the team in SEC play with a .280 clip … Perfect 16-for-16 in steals, moving into the top-10 in school history with 37 … Had eight multi-hit games and a season-long hitting streak of nine games … That streak came at the end of SEC play, through the SEC Tournament an into the NCAA Tournament … Led the team in the SEC Tournament with six hits, helping the Rebels to their first ever SEC Tournament title … Named a 2016 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete ...
