Thomas Shook is in his second season as director of operations with the Ole Miss softball program. Shook comes to Oxford after working as a manager on Windy Thees' staff at Memphis in 2011.
At Ole Miss, Shook works with game video, travel arrangements, and coordinates and assists with camps and clinics. In addition to office work, Shook also coordinates events on road trips, plans meals and is responsible for making sure uniforms are ready for games.
"Thomas has been a great member of my staff over the past three years," Ole Miss head coach Windy Thees said. "He does a great job in working with filming our hitters and pitchers as well as organizing our road trips. His addition has freed up our staff to work more with our players than ever before."
At Memphis, Shook filmed games, helped at practice each day and assisted with food arrangements for road games.
A natve of Oakdale, N.Y., Shook earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Memphis in 2011, and is currently pursuing a master's degree in recreation administration at Ole Miss.
Shook was a scholar athlete in soccer at Millington Central High School in 2007, and was team captain as a senior.
The son of David and Linda Shook, Thomas has an older sister, Leah Scharfetter, and two younger brothers, Michael and Greg.
