Rebels Earn Three Wins At Duke Fab Four

CARY, N.C. - The Ole Miss women's tennis team picked up three wins on day one of the Duke Fab Four Invitational Friday.

Junior Caroline Rohde-Moe, ranked No. 55 in the nation, downed Elizabeth Epstein of Yale 6-0, 6-3 in the Blue Draw.  Sophomore Erin Stephens dominated Elizabeth Begley (Texas) 6-1, 6-1, also in the Blue Draw.

Freshman Marija Milutinovic lost her opening match as a Rebel 6-3, 6-1, to Cristina Stancu of Texas A&M, in the Black Draw.

In the White Draw, sophomore Julia Jones dropped her match to North Carolina's Caroline Price 6-1, 6-2.

Ole Miss had two teams in doubles.  Rohde-Moe and Milutinovic defeated Alabama's Emily Zabor and Natalie Maynetto 8-6.  Jones and Stephens lost to UA's MaryAnne Macfarlane and Maya Jansen 8-6, in a close match.
