LAS VEGAS, Nev. – In a battle of Rebels, the Ole Miss women’s tennis team swept the Flight 1 singles and doubles titles at the UNLV Invitational Sunday.

Caroline Rohde-Moe, ranked No. 75 in the nation, dominated 95th-ranked Lucia Batta of UNLV 6-1, 6-1 in the singles final.   With the win, the Norway native improved to 7-1 on the year.

In the doubles final, senior Gabby Rangel and freshman Erin Stephens teamed up to post an 8-6 win against Batta and her partner, Aleksandra Josifoska.

The Rebels will be back in action next weekend as they begin competing in the year’s first major, the Riviera All-American Championships, Oct. 1-9.
