TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Ole Miss will have two of the final eight in the USTA/ITA Southern Regional Championships, as both junior Caroline Rohde-Moe and sophomore Julia Jones advanced to the quarterfinals Saturday at the Alabama Tennis Stadium. Junior Vief Vlaar made the finals of the B Draw.

Rohde-Moe, the No. 2 seed in the tournament, came back to beat Klaudia Gawlik of McNeese State in three sets. After dropping the first set 6-1, Rohde-Moe took over, winning the next two by the same score of 6-1 to set up a quarterfinal meeting against either Kaitlin Burns (LSU) or Maya Jansen (AL).

Jones, seeded No. 5, defeated Tulane's Ipek Birol 6-2, 7-5 to advance to the quarterfinals where she will face Karoline Grymel of Troy Sunday.

Vlaar beat Anna Marie Lyon of Samford 6-4, 6-1 to reach the final of the B Draw and will face either Emma Helisten (Tulane) or Rosaura Ramirez-Vega (Troy) Sunday.

Should Rohde-Moe and Jones win their quarterfinal matches, they would have to play again in the semifinals later Sunday.
