OXFORD, Miss. - From one coast to the other, the Ole Miss women's tennis team, after being in California last week for the Riviera All-American Championships, heads to the Sunshine State this weekend to participate in the Miami Invite in Coral Gables, Fla.
"This is another top-flight tournament where we get an opportunity to measure ourselves against some of the nation's best players," head coach Mark Beyers said. "We are looking forward to a great weekend of competition."
There will be two flights of singles and doubles. Play will begin Friday at 9 a.m. with two rounds of doubles, followed by the first round of singles.
Rohde-Moe is the top seed in the Orange draw and will face Auburn's Michala Kucharova in the first round. El Kamash will meet Elisabeth Abanda of Barry University in her first round match. Stephens will go up against third-seeded Kelsey Laurente of Miami in the first round. In the Green draw, Allie Robbins will face Lina Lileikite of Miami, Marija Milutinovic will meet Natalia Davila of Purdue, and Iris Verboven will play Akemi Maehama of Barry.
